In 2019, the University Research Computing Advisory Group was established to offer insight and assistance on the specialized services provided by the University Reseach Computing group. The goal of this group is to provide faculty input on the high-performance computing environment. The group makes recommendations for technology investment as well as budget recommendations. Chosen in consultation with the college deans who use the HPC environment, these members serve as the primary liaison to the college's research faculty. Currently, the group meets twice a year, but that can be adjusted based on need.
